“ Here’s what you need to know: the food is safe - enjoyable but the flavor’s won’t linger in your mind after a few days. However, what sets this place apart and makes for a 5 star experiment is the service and ambiance. I cannot say enough good things about the management - led by Steve - and his team (shout out to Jesus) who are so charming and warm and welcoming and guest focused that they make you love your time at Mino’s. Also, that patio experience in summer and fall is just unbeatable. Possibly in the best patio casual atmospheres in the Chicagoland. Huge kudos to Steve and team for providing such gracious service and making guests have an amazing time, every visit of ours. We had the Vongole (great the first time but a bit off on our second visit but still enjoyable) and octopus (very well cooked) Pricing was competitive and fair for the area. Our bill was about 40-50/person for food at dinner. Not including drinks. ”

“ What a gem ! Large patio (fills up by 6pm). Expertly executed Italian dishes. We tried 5 appetizers and loved every one of them. At the tables around us, pasta looked amazing. Very nice wine list, focusing on Italian wines and some nice craft cocktails. Impeccable service. The only complaint I had was that when we ordered wine by the glass, the bottle may have been opened a while ago. Otherwise, excellent restaurant - highly recommended. ”

“ 10/10!!!! My husband and I decided to leave a restaurant down the street from monks due to terrible service . We decided to step inside Minos and absolutely loved it. The service was amazing. The staff was so accommodating. They had a huge party and were completely booked except at the bar. Only one chair was available and they went looking for an additional seat for my husband and I. The bar staff was very knowledgeable and suggested the most amazing dishes for us. CJ was his name and he did such an amazing job . We had the Fritto miso which is a must try. The new sink and side salad was the perfect shareable plate along with the tortellini(best pasta I’ve ever had). As someone who isn’t a sweats girly we decided to try the gelato and OMG !! It was such a creamy and delicious treat. Will be retuning back to explore more of their menu. ”
“ This is the best restaurant ever!! As we were entering it started to rain outside, as I walked in I noticed that the floor was a little slippery, and by the time that we were seated gabby (hostess) and the other waiters/waitresses had put mats around the restaurant. I assume to ensure their customers safety. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, as it is excellent. Right away the staff are able to assist whenever you are in need of something, wether it’s a clean set of silverware, a new plate, or anything else. They are able to adapt to most peoples food choices, including a special drink, or a food choice for younger kids. All of the staff are incredibly kind. It is insane how incredibly run this establishment is. I’m very glad to have this restaurant in winnetka, let alone the north shore. By far one of the best restaurants in all of Chicagoland. Always here to make all feel welcomed. ”

From the fire pit greeting you on the way in and the staff members wishing you a goodnight. Outstanding experience from start to finish.
